June Committee Meeting Update

Well it's getting closer. Less than 3 months away and still a ton of details to work out.

Dick then spoke about the format of the tournament as it has been decided. There will be two 9-hole challenges in the morning. One Irish Fourball format for the more serious golfers and one Rainbow Scramble for those who are less serious or looking for a more fun, relaxed round of golf.

In the afternoon event, it was determined that there would be four Par 3 Challenges: Target, Double Your Money, 50/50 Hole and Closest to the Pin. There will be two 'Hole in One' challenges, the sponsor of the prizes for this contest are still to be determined. It was also discussed to incorporate a 5-Minute Hole challenge, Called 5 in 5. On the 5th green, the golfers will be challenged to complete the hole in five minutes. If they succeed, then one stroke will be deducted from their total. If not, then regular play resumes. Jim Curran assumed the role of 'Activities Coordinator' and will be overseeing the operations of these challenges.
